X-Groups
 
This is our children and young peoples group in Sandyhills Church .

We seek to teach and promote the truths of the Christain faith

and welcome all children from the age of three.

All our groups are led in a relaxed and informal manner .

We always seek to encourage the children to take their faith seriously

andapply it to their everyday lives.

With this in mind we have been sponsoring a

child in Africa and are following his progress

as he grows up.

Our group meets each Sunday at 10.30 am from

January through to May and the details are outlined below.
 
All young people will be warmly welcomed and will join their leaders
and the rest of the Church family at 10.30am for joint worship.
They are involved in praise and prayer, and the Minister gives a
children’s address before they disperse into their various age groups. 
Age appropriate resources for worship are used in the groups which
are organised as follows:
 

Summer X Groups take place between the middle of May and the
beginning of August. 
This is led by volunteers from the congregation, which gives our X Group
Leaders the opportunity to take a well deserved break and means that
there is provision for the children every Sunday.
